Stefania is a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, fluent in English and Spanish, with more than five years of clinical experience, including clinical work both before and after graduate school. She brings a culturally responsive and relationship-centered approach to her work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Stefania also brings more than 12 years of professional experience working within the school system, supporting children and adolescents with diverse developmental, behavioral, emotional, and educational needs. Her school-system experience includes working with students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavioral disorders, and emotional disorders.

She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and has experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety and depression, relationship and family challenges, parent-child concerns, divorce and separation, co-parenting difficulties, behavioral and social challenges, grief, and significant life transitions.

Stefania believes therapy provides an opportunity to understand not only a client’s presenting concerns, but also the relationships, experiences, and patterns that influence emotional and relational well-being.
Her extensive experience with children and adolescents has shaped her belief in the importance of connection, emotional safety, communication, and healthy relationships.
When working with children and adolescents, Stefania considers developmental needs while recognizing the important role that parents, caregivers, family relationships, and the surrounding environment play in the therapeutic process.
With couples and families, she focuses on relational patterns, communication, emotional connection, parenting dynamics, and strengthening healthier family relationships.
Above all, Stefania strives to ensure that clients feel seen, heard, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

This experience has provided her with a strong understanding of child and adolescent development, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, social challenges, and the ways these concerns can affect children, families, and relationships.
Her professional experience also includes clinical work both before and after graduate school. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Stefania brings a systemic perspective to her work, recognizing the importance of family relationships and the broader environment in understanding an individual’s emotional and behavioral concerns.
