Reniqua Fells is a Graduate Student Social Work Intern at Total Life Counseling. She has extensive experience in child welfare and has worked with families and children for 10 years. Reniqua is a Domestic Violence survivor and specializes in trauma and feel it is her calling to be a therapist and help others conquer their past traumatic experiences. Reniqua Specializes in trauma, addiction, abuse, couples, and women’s issues. Reniqua is a Graduate student obtaining her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Walden University. She received her Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University.
Philosophy of Care
Reniqua is a Graduate Student Social Work Intern at Total Life Counseling. She has extensive experience in child welfare and has worked with families and children for 10 years. Although Reniqua prides herself on working hard to keep families together, she also has a passion for helping others heal from their past. Reniqua’s academic journey reflects her commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations. Her focus areas include trauma-informed therapy, abuse intervention, and couples therapy, showcasing a holistic approach to social work. Reniqua is passionate about empowering women, and teen girls. She embraces a client-centered therapeutic approach, ensuring that her clients feel heard, valued, and actively involved in their healing process.
Reniqua is a Domestic Violence Survivor.
Reniqua is a Domestic Violence survivor and specializes in trauma. Due to Reniqua’s own personal experience of emotional abuse, Reniqua feels it is her calling to be a therapist and help others conquer their past traumatic experiences. Reniqua has survived through her own issues of emotional abuse, low self-esteem, substance abuse, and lack of trust of others and now lives a life full of joy, peace, and victory.
Reniqua also enjoys working with couples. Reniqua most recently launched a podcast with her husband in January 2024. This podcast explores topics on dating, relationships, marriage, and blended families. Reniqua understands that relationships can be hard to manage and requires teamwork. You have to continue to communicate and display emotional vulnerability with your partner. Relationships can be restored through love, peace, and togetherness.
