Educational:

Janie received her Masters in Counseling Psychology through Palm Beach Atlantic University.  Janie also has her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, specializing in Business Management. Janie also has certifications in management, small business, and marketing. 

Janie has worked with employees in different industries to assist them in determining their individual strengths to maximize their abilities in their departments.  In turn this has helped agencies improve employee moral, retention and productivity.

Janie has a passion to reach out and help people grow and mature through difficult life situations. She has invested in the lives of others through public speaking, leadership training, educational instruction and small group ministry in Central Florida. Janie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, specializing in management. Her graduate work is through Palm Beach Atlantic University. Her professional affiliations are with the American Counseling Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association.

• Habits for Effective Leaders - Concepts from Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

• Certified Question, Persuade, & Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper Trainer – Janie is certified to teach quality suicide prevention training to diverse audiences. She does this is the Orlando Central Florida area

• Hearing Officer, University of Central Florida’s Student Conduct Board -   In this role Janie had the opportunity to have a one on one conversation with students and was able to offer advice, suggestions, and alternatives to their current lifestyles.
